Fred Hesse Jr. Park is one of the city’s largest. The upper park has baseball and soccer fields, barbecue grills and picnic tables, playgrounds for toddlers and children, a walking trail and community buildings that can be rented for parties and meetings. The lower park, recently developed, has a sand volleyball court, picnic tables, walking parks, and great views of the ocean, Catalina and Santa Monica Bay.
